    That's correct.
Also, if 24 is to be believed then without that cartridge on the end, it simply functions as a close range hand to hand taser.

The barbs are designed to stay in so Police can deliver additional shocks.

I can understand getting tough to kick people out but then he follows the guy into a street (as he seems to be walking away) to start a fight with him.

Maybe the guy who said he was leaving was some guy who kept coming back, I don't know the full story, but it seems like he's escalating situations for no reason.

As a general statement, if you want to avoid a fight when kicking someone out, assuming they haven't already done something seriously threatening (if they walk away after saying something stupid, that's generally not a serious threat), then just let them leave with their pride. Everyone knows they look stupid. If you call the guy a pussy or whatever while he's walking away, in front of his friends, he's going to want to defend his pride, and he's that much more likely to feel like he has a reason to fight.

start it at 2:20, you can watch the situation escalate, even though the guys are walking off. the guy goes from walking away to "let's fight in the street" in minutes.

Look, the guys a badass, I respect that it's a hard, dangerous job, and it's easy for me to armchair critique this, but I think his methods are questionable if he's trying to be a "peace officer."

Also, I've been around that part of ATL: there is an enormous homeless population, all sorts of hustlers coming around giving people a hard time. It's pretty messed up.
