    increasing active members

I'm a bit curious about members who check the site more than one time per day. Especially those who actively post multiple times per day.

What do you think the reason is why you check the site so often and feel the need to post threads and comments?

Those who don't have a CB7 anymore, why are you still around? I'm in that category and I think there's a certain friendship that has grown with those who are on the site. We started with a cb7 as being the seed and now have no reason to go elsewhere.

Reason I'm asking is because I want to try to encourage more people to become active both here and on my own website. I'd like to hear any ideas you may have or general feedback. Even what would discourage you from remaining active on any forum.

    Thanks!

Most forums are full of immature kids, lol. This one is not like the rest!

I have pretty much posted every day, with slight breaks, since 2006.

When I had my cb it was because I wanted to learn as much as I could and after finding this site, I realized I was way behind the curve(at that point Joey had been featured on HT already and there were some serious builds already)

After being on here and attending some meets(the first AFM) and meeting a lot of people(I had the privilidge of meeting not only the S Fla crew, but also some from the NE)

So once I sold my cb, I was already a known active member here that had contributed(in good and bad lol)

So really I had no reason to leave.

I still talked to people and was curious what would go on in certain peoples lives or builds.

Stick around long enough and you get to see people change before your eyes(Wayne, Dave)

At the point I am now, I do plan to get back in the game eventually, but I know without a doubt that If I never get another cb, ill still always be here lurking and admiring the dedication of people who either have more time money or skills then me.

The camaderie is definitely a big one.

Honestly there really just isn''t a way to replicate the way this forum is.

I think its a mix of generally good people and great staff.

Also the people who come here(for the most part) are a different breed because this isn' a 240sx forum.....so we don't get 1000s of typical asshole kids who only want to be in the "scene" for the duration of HS.

Yes we get some wut up m ba ananana people but they change or go away....

So it would be hard to replicate that just because it, imo, was a perfect storm of things and people just love the atmosphere here.

          Everything Ralphie and cb7pr said.

This place started it all for me. If I'm not here, I'm on 6GA. They're probably the coolest forums I've been on. There's knowledge, nicer people, friendly people, and the sites are easy to navigate.

I've also met A LOT of good people here. I'm not 03 OG but ive been a member here for almost 7 years. I have almost 9500 posts(technically top 10 on the site) and I have the #1 viewed thread with over a million views. Not only do I have a groove formed, I have a reputation to uphold, lol.

I like most of the people on here. This is my first forum ever, and I feel comfortable.
I still own 2 cb7s, one being almost dead, and one being my project. I need all the info I can find. Plus its fun to bullshit with all you guys/gals...

I have only been here a little over a year but the people are great, there is plenty of great information. Seeing all the other rides inspires me to do more with my car. Even if i do get out of a CB, I will still stick around just because of the over all atmosphere on this forum. It is by far the best forum I have been a part of.

I think a lot of it is the fast pace. We're a small forum compared to the big dogs like Honda Tech, but the pace is often quick... so there's almost always something to read and comment on.

I'll admit, I'm on here far more than I am on CD5tuner.com, which I also own (and unlike this site, I actually started CD5tuner!) Largely because 1) I know the people here quite well, and 2) the pace is quick. I don't really talk about CB7s all that much on here, aside from helping the noobs (with the same 5 problems, over and over and over again...)

I just went down to Florida for AFM this year. First time for me, but the 5th AFM. I got to meet a handful of people that I've known on this site for the past 6+ years. When I first walked into the room, it took all of 3 seconds for me to feel like I was in a room full of old friends. So yeah... that's how close we are on this site, it seems.

Hey, your Butterfly forum almost gave me a seizure jk

That's a really cool forum that you've created. My wife actually works with people that have aspies and autism and many other disabilities. I will show her the site tonight!
