...hopefully. hood and headlights from jdm91cb, fenders are fine for now, bumper is salvageable for now, dont need a grille, and i have an extra radiator and a/c condensor. and i have enough white paint. we shall see.

it's good that you came out fine. that looks like what i did to my old lx last summer except yours looks a little worse then mine did. didn't repair mine though, just grabbed a newer cb7 in MUCH better condition then the other. good luck with repairs

NOOO saw your sig pic.. then found this thread. Your car looks EXACTLY like my old one.. except mine was a little worse, and on the other side. And yeah, the neon i hit.. only a small hole from the fender poking through. Thats what happens when you are lowered and their bumper hits your headlight/hood. Lets see if I can find a pic for comparison.

edit: yeah, mine was a little bit worse, but believe it or not.. 300 bux, and it was pretty much stock looking again, besides a non matching hood. (dont plan on using your a/c radiator thingy.. it wont fit again unless you weld a whole new radiator support)

ah yes, this is pretty common for us people with lowered cars, isnt it. well, i worked on it today, got everything pulled out and with mixed use of a sledgehammer, crowbar, and blocks of wood, the general shape of the front end is pretty straight. using straightedges to check, the two headlight support areas are straight and dont have very many creases and bends. the center horizontal support and the vertical beam below it are bent up like a mofo, im probably going to try to find a set for free, or ill buy them from maple if necessary, and ill enlarge/redrill holes as necessary to get it to bolt in.

hood, i laid flat on the road and jumped on it, fixed. for now.

just need to use more of those plastic bumper cover clips, and the bumper will be fine.

need to drive out to the bronx and pick up jdm91cb's headlights and hood, and once i get that sanded and rattle canned, itll replace my wrinkled stock one.

its well on its way, this was just a minor setback in the life of teh mikey. it gives me an excuse to replace things that ive wanted to, but didnt have a reason to... like the headlights, i want JDM 9293's, and ive considered a chargespeed or gsquare grille. and id like a JDM bumper, if i can find one... and with the broken lip, i can get a 5th gen one now.

ill post pics when everything is reinstalled and the car is running this saturday (next chance i have to work on it)

                                boo....

damn, sorry mike, that blows. happens to the best of us too, especially when we dont expect it.

main thing is: parts = replaceable, mikes = not

im sure itll be back to immaculate condition soon right?

                                me likey.
