                  Whew.

                  This is pretty tough.

                  First of all.

Plus one for Tnwgn.....Schindlers List is really a work of art. It hits home and is hard to watch but it's one of the few, if the only movie that one can actually see briliance on screen.

                  Some ones you guys forgot-

                  Inception- fucking amazing.
                  Star Wars.....4,5, and 6.
Clerks/Chasing Amy/Dogma/Jay and Silent Bob strike back.
                  Shutter Island
                  Catch Me If You Can.
                  Pulp Fiction(or anything by QT)
                  American Beauty.
                  Short Circuit
                  BTTF
                  Sin City
                  Watchmen

My fav movie of all time though would be

The original Psycho. Alfred Hitchcock was a genuis and I don't know of a movie he made that I did not like.

"We all go a little mad sometimes"

Aliens: Colonial Marines. I've been waiting for that game to come out since it was announced. I have it in my Amazon wishlist

For me, it's The Princess Bride. By far, the best movie ever. It has adventure, romance, comedy, Andre the Giant, and Columbo. By far one of the most quotable movies ever, as well.
One of my all time favorites. Watched that as a kid when i was sick from school. Always made me feel beter. Billy Crystal was amazing. Although this is my favorite quote fromt he movie, "My name is Inigo Montoya you killed me father prepare to die."

Who else wanted to be in WYLD STALLYNS!

Or "Fat guy in a little coat" "Richard whatcha do"

My all time favorite though has to be the 1999 film: The faculty. Simply an amazing film.

"End of watch" By far the best movie I've ever seen, it's spot on Los Angeles.

After 5 pages, it is painfully obvious this is a "fuck what the critics think I'm posting my own favorite movies" thread instead of a "best technical/critically acclaimed movies" thread.

People are giving their opinions which is what was asked. The best movie to you or "best technical/critically acclaimed movies" might not be what others enjoy.
