If you could buy/build/create a totally awesome "house"... what would you do?

This is inspired by all the recent talk about the house built on a decommissioned missile silo/bunker.

I was driving around for work today, thinking of how awesome it would be to have a totally extravagant home. In fact, I wonder why absurdly rich people (like, billionaires) settle for living in plain old mansions! There are so many totally awesome things that could be done!

    Some of my ideas:

An old factory. It would be totally badass to take an old factory, either in the middle of a city or hidden in the wilderness, and convert it into a home. Keep all the factory "charm". It would almost be like an evil villain's lair!

An old nuclear plant. I believe there are a few plants in the US that have been shut down, and they're just sitting there... ominous cooling towers on the horizon, no neighbors for miles. That would be pretty sweet. It'd be very lair-like, as the factory would be.

An entire suburban block. Buy a block in a "grid" neighborhood, and link all the houses by tunnels. You could live in a different house every day of the month! That would likely be more "quirky" than luxurious or awesome... but it would be pretty fun when people come peddling things door-to-door!

Buy land on a cliff, and build a castle at the top. A real castle, out of the storybooks. The kind the knights ride to when they're trying to save a captive princess. What would be more awesome than a castle on a cliff?

Those are my ideas. Purely fantasy, as they'd all be absolutely impractical for a real home... but it's fun to think about!
What ideas do you guys have?

I'd build a house/bunker in the side of a small hill.

Do girls in shiny bikinis count as reflectors? If so, I'm in!

My uncle did that in the Philippines... It's pretty cool, but they are connected by just a hallway that goes from house to house.

LMAO! I've actually used fabric as a reflector ... come to think of it, I used a bride IN her dress once to help light a boquet of flowers and both rings ..

I would build a car shop in my backyard next to my house and study my car along with a lift on some viper the series type shit. Then I would build a nice mansion with nice big gates along with some fortress dogs to guard it.

Then build a safe-room to make sure that if all else fails I can hold up there with enough food and porn to last me through the ages lol. Oh and a nice big ass pool with an escape military helicopter with ammunition stashed away.

I always wanted to have a huge dilapidated "haunted" looking mansion set far back from other houses... then own a small, kinda boring house in front of it. Have a tunnel from the small house to the mansion. Like a secret entrance.
