    OMFG! After a whole slew of phones, I've decided on the Nexus, simply amazing!!!

    This phone is perfect. I'm still learning about it, and ICS is very nice.


    In the past week, my wife and I went from ATT, to Sprint and then to Verizon. I had the Samsung Infuse, to Samsung Epic 4g Touch to the Galaxy Nexus. My wife went from the 3GS(finally no more apples in my house) to the HTC Inspire, to HTC Evo 4g then the HTC Thunderbolt. She was going to get the Rezound, but she didn't like the design of it. The back does have that "Incredible" hump that's quite awkward. The best part about ending on Verizon, that I should have thought of sooner, I get 15% my monthly off because I work for TJ's.


    Right now, for those that are into Android modding. I unlocked, rooted, flashed AOKP b20+NovaLauncher and a transparent status/navigation mod. Fuckin amazing phone. And I love the clean look... all black front, no logo's.


    Unicorn POWER!


    Transparent mod(a real 4.65" if you will)

    I'm currently researching into either the Franco or Lean Kernel for undervolting to preserve battery... but I see comments on both sides saying it works and doesn't work. So I'll hold off for now.

      how is the battery on it? i was looking at getting a galaxy nexus of those if i decided to shift to verizon, or an sII once att finally ports it to ICS.

      the battery on my infuse (froyo) i find to be relatively good for how much i use it and how big the screen is.

        get a case for it b4 u drop it. i see alot of people with htc's and iphone4's with shattered screens.

            I wish I knew what I was doing when it came to jailbraking, rooting and all that jazz.

              It's not difficult at all. I had no idea what I was doing. I had a kid next to me in math class do it during class.

              30.0 MPG, AC on, aggressively driving around 90.
              27.5 MPG, no AC, cruising at 90 with occasional gridlock. 40 degrees Fahrenheit

                I bought this the first day it was out. Best phone I have ever owned, I've been with android since the G1, after many other android phones I was starting to think of making the switch to the iPhone. Glad I made this choice.

                  I actually do have a case, it's just hard to see. I got the casemate "barely there". It's more for scratch protection than anything.

                  The battery is fairing pretty well so far. I'm going on almost 24hrs and Im at 20% remaining. I haven't used it a whole lot though, about 3hrs.

                  I was actually the other way around. Myself and my wife had iPhones for years. Then I sold my iPhone and got a Samsung Infuse, sold the iPad for a Xoom and no we just got rid of my wife's iPhone. Pure Android home now.

                      I'm still on a stock OS, and the battery life completely blows. I get terrible 4G/3G service, and I'm trying to get VZW to exchange my phone for me, but, I don't want a refurbed phone...hoping yours works out better for you.

                        Not sure if you'd be interested in the Razr but Amazon has a deal on it right now for ~220 for people who are already have a Verizon account or even less for people who are switching to Verizon. It also comes with a extended battery.

                          Anymore, theyre all the same. And they all have shitty battery life. Except for the Razr Maxx. It has outstanding usage time.

                          Aside from usage time and removable memory, the nexus, rezound, iphone, razr...theyre all the same. Its in the little things.

                            Dude at Verizon said the Nexus has a few bugs. Anyone hear anything about them?

                              sweet pickup man whats transparent mode?
                              i just rooted/flashed my samsung captivate (ATT)
                              picking up a nokia e71 tomorrow so i can use my ATT phone on Straight Talk.
