What is the proper orientation for the toilet paper roll? I like one way but my gf puts it on reverse. Which way is right? Hanging over towards you or hanging back under?

Under is neater looking. If you say it's problematic to reach and pull from under the roll you've got bigger life issues to worry about. Lol

Under is neater looking. If you say it's problematic to reach and pull from under the roll you've got bigger life issues to worry about. Lol

It's also more hygenic - Over the front you only touch the edge of the next square of paper.
Over the back you touch about the third next square, Which is more likely to be where its used on the next person.

Or at least that has always been my theory.
I always hang it over the front, However if I'm at someone else's house and they have it over the back, I won't change it . . . That's just rude.

Im on the fence about changing it. It is kinda rude but at the same time its like bathroom trolling. Id feel like Tippey if i did it. Lol.

Who cares about the way that roll is? I keep cheap paper on the roller and keep my nice tp in the towel cabinet so guests don't waste it all.

I will say, under does look far more 'tidy' than the over look. Also, I have noticed that people are much more likely to unroll the paper far more than needed when leaving the bathroom.

i can second that. The way I see it, tp is tp reguardless of how its placed. It aint leaves thats doing the wiping of my ass so what do I care how its placed?
