Question about the Iphone 3GS

Sup guys,

I am going to be purchasing an Iphone 3GS from a friend of mine with all his apps and songs that he paid for. Since it is already registered to his computer, will I still be able to sign in to my itunes account on his phone and download apps and songs? and can I download songs and apps from my computer even though it is registered to his computer? or will it say I need to sync with my computer and erase all the data?

Apps are installed to the phone.
Erase and sync like you would an iPod. Keep the apps.

Well he purchased them from his phone, so that would probably mean the apps are linked with his account and wont itunes erase the apps if I sync it with my itunes account on my computer since I did not purchase the apps?

You can sign in on the phone and download apps/music but you will lose every thing if you sync up to your PC.

Your best bet is to sync up to your PC and have all the apps/music transferred from his PC to your PC by using a flash drive. That way you will have every thing that he has and be abule to sync to your PC and have your app/music too.

Ive been working on iPhones for a few years now and know just about every thing about them including mods, jailbreaks, unlocks, downgrades, basebans and then some.

you can have your iphone sync to 2 itunes account. check some youtube vids

when my friend jailbroke my ip4 from his itune account i sync'ed to my itune account and have not lost anything. still got the apps and 3 sample songs from my friend

He is right you can use more than one account on the iphone. example if I put my apps on your phone and then yours and you want to update, your going to need the password to my Itunes to update the apps. its best if the phone is JB so you can just use installus and get the apps for free

also you will lose your music if you put on your PC unless you use a program that takes the songs out of the phone then you can re apply them back
