How tough is a CB7??

day 5

Started to prebend the trunk and 1/4s.


Got most of the wires and other crap out on the pass side.


Got the carpet out and the battery relocated.

DAY 6

I got the trunk all welded up and the back windshield out.

definitely post some video of this. fucking ridiculous. i've hit a few pothole with my CB, but i think this is the ultimate test. lol.

The car was just a parts car (no title) and then scrap bound. If I could get a title then this would be my DD. I was wondering how tough our CBs are and I needed a derby car so thats the story of this CB.

The F22 is tough but that body will crumble when subjected to demolition derby. Cant wait for the video!

It seems a little soft but with a weld here and there and some prebending It should toughen up some. The trunk is startin to get stronger and Im not done with it yet. I dont plan on making this car last for another derby so Im gonna give them hell. Foot to the floor and bangin some gears.

DAY ??

I got some more work done. I got the prebending on the trunk just about done.




I started to weld the pass rear door.


I got the front fenders welded to the core support.



I got all the junk out and all the wires moved to a safe place.



I found out that the exhaust manifold has a crack in it but its coming off anyway for a custom header out the hood.


With all work that been done, the car is gettin stronger. There is still a lot of work to get done. Ill have a video up later when its done uploading on youtube.
