    Timelapse Aurora Borealis

I love this stuff! I just cant get enough...

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/mashable/201...urora_borealis

For those that dont care to clicky; a man, on an 11-hour flight from San Francisco to Paris, set up his DSLR, on a tripod, on the plane, and took pictures out his window. It equated to something like 1 picture every 2 miles. Pretty cool stuff.

37.5 MPG, AC on, cruising at 80.
30.0 MPG, AC on, aggressively driving around 90.
27.5 MPG, no AC, cruising at 90 with occasional gridlock. 40 degrees Fahrenheit

The Aurora was neat and all but I just like it for the photography aspect. Ive always liked timelapse stuff, and i like taking pictures out of airplane windows whilst flying, and this is just awesome, lol.

                  Sweet video!

I'm pretty sure it is federal law that you have to turn off electronic devices on take off and landing... He may just have posted up incriminating evidence. lol.

                    not quite..

Also remarkable is the fact that the Air France flight crew allowed the use of that bundle of electronic devices throughout the entire flight. At the end of this video, you'll see the rig with which he snapped the 2,459 shots -- one approximately every two miles. After the flight, they were edited together along with a few judiciously placed iPhone pics shot along the way.
                    reading is great isnt it?
