Mercedes fog lights moving up and down?

I was riding in front of a new Mercedes this morning and I thought I was seeing shit. Do the LED running lights tend to move up and down? Like does the whole housing move up and down because I SWEAR I saw the things going up and down. I saw it in my rear view and my side view mirrors. Nobody elses lights were doing that so it couldn't have been an illusion. Like they were moving in a wave like motion. NO I WAS NOT HIGH!

Im not sure what the function is called or what its for but Ive noticed this too.Ive seen some high end cars' lights move up when the car is turned on.The Last time I saw this was on a BMW suv I think.Weird.

I think they do im not sure. My car well I know my evo does it but I dont have fogs jsut headlights sometimes my headlights self adjust. I thought I was trippin. i think it has something to do with the glare to prevent you from blinding other oncoming cdrivers and drivers in the front of you.

self adjusting / auto leveling lights is what its called. most the newer high end cars have it. but dude said he was moving right? i recall the one of the rl's having the lights that turn as u turn the car. x5 bmw comes to mind.

No these things were HAULING ASS like they were shaking violently. This isn't a self adjust because I mean they are just running lights. I guess I will find out when another one gets behind me.

Maybe the mounts were broken and they were shaking up and down?

They turn with the steering column up to 15* i believe.

They don't go up and down.

The do, however, auto adjust when the car is started.

Thats bad because I don't have a radio, but I have poly mounts. They could have been why. And since they were LED running lights, it could have had an effect of some sort. All I know is those fuckers were moving up and down in both mirrors and it started to piss me off.
