mini vacation

been given 3 days for working overtime on schedules that no one wanted. i also have sick days i can tack on so 3-7 days. don't want to push my luck since i am planning on making an international vacation trip in the fall

where should i go? texas? arizona? mexico? washington? louisiana? alaska?

just want to go somewhere i haven't been before

any fun attractions?

go to Vegas, party for a day, then rent a Lambo and drive to the grand canyon (if you haven't seen it)

Don't go to Mexico they have too many problems with cartels and corrupt officers, with hardly any military help.

Vegas trip doesn't sound bad at all, and you can get some really cheap ass flights out there.

Go visit a place like Mazatlan or even Acapulco Mexico.

I don't know about Acapulco, but Mazatlan is getting pretty bad. Unless you stay in the "Gold Zone" which is basically nothing but tourist garbage, and is only like 1/2 a mile long.

i want to go to vegas but my girl has been there already (4 times) so that seems like a no go

mexico sounds nice, would definitely want to stay away from the dangerous areas and the touristy areas. is there any area that would give me a real mexican experience while keeping me safe?

Yep, Just stay away from the border towns and the state of Sinaloa and Sornora and you should be fine.

I would suggest Cozumel, but it still has alot of tourists.

i got pulled over at cozumel in a scooter from the local popos for swerving and riding under the influence fun place but too many bars

any more suggestions besides cozumel?

ireland sounds like a place i would like, not sure about scotland. i'd rather go to england first. surprised you didn't mention germany
