But I think the ML looks like a weeping feminine crevice.
Yea, it fits the mold of the new suv.
    The FJ

Also, CRV gets about 20-23 mpg, IIRC.
    MRT
37.5 MPG, AC on, cruising at 80.
30.0 MPG, AC on, aggressively driving around 90.
27.5 MPG, no AC, cruising at 90 with occasional gridlock. 40 degrees Fahrenheit

Lots of DIY videos specifically for our car

Get some awesome wipers! <-- It's a DIY

Here is another mag, that rated the CR-V #1.

      MPG

      CR-V 21/27
      Forester 20/26

      So theyre about even.

So saying that....no one answered my question....

      which is cheaper to maintain?

Both are quite common, so the maintenance cost is likely to be very similar.

The Forester shares many parts with just about every other Subaru made around the same time. Seeing as they're all AWD, I would think sourcing replacement parts would be easier. Nothing else really shares the CRV's AWD system, so if something breaks there, you have to find CRV-specific parts.

          ^^

Ok so then why the fuck are we discussing this?

Because he's trying to get banned by making threads based on whatever comes into his head... rebelling against my tolerance of a troll by deliberately trolling twice as hard.

Strangely enough, we've managed to have a pretty good 4 page discussion on the topic, even though it IS a "troll thread". Amazing, no? That's what happens when you actually discuss the topic, and not the person that posted it.

Back on topic... I'm supporting the Forester because it's the one that I would choose. If he wanted to be talked out of buying it, then he'd have already decided against buying it... therefore, the topic of this thread is moreso the decision between the two (or the introduction of equal or better options... the Rav4 would certainly fit that, though I find that even wimpier looking than the CRV.)

                    On a sidenote----

What does everyone think about these two cars-

                    Honda Pilot

                    Hyundai Elantra Touring

                    ??!?!?

The Pilot is a bigger CR-V LOL!

We kind of want the 3rd row.

As far as the Elantra, i like it....so im wondering if anyone has opinions on that shit?

                    Looks like this-

A thread should just be a thread, I agree.
                      However, immaturity is rather transparent.

The Elantra Touring is more of an Elantra wagon than any sort of CUV.
The Pilot is more truck-like, and most definitely not anywhere near the CR-V or Forester in terms of mpg. However, it's pretty cool. I liked the last gen better than the current one, though.

Na the mpg is not that great, but its loaded.

                          Crossover Utility Vehicle.

That's been the name they've been using for them over the past 5 years or so. The CRV fits in that segment. All those "cute utes" do.

I couldn't agree more about the "girls = CRV" thing becuase there is this HOT chick in one of my courses and I seen her pull out of the parking lot in a CRV every other day.

                            Call me stalker, lol.

I watched the 4wd test vid. Legacy GT with lift kit ftw. There is one that rides around my hood with a 2 inch lift and meatier tires. Half the time it has mud on it and its got a hellacious BOV.
