They seem to be occurring with greater frequency and more force.
Rules: Natural Disasters only!

I'll go first.
Everyone knows about Japan and all the associated aftershocks and Tsunamis.
There's also flooding happening in New Jersey.

If you don't like the thread, don't comment in it. Let it sink to the bottom and disappear.

Even better, if a certain member makes more threads than you'd care to see... add them to your ignore list and you won't have to worry about it.






Dammit... I work in Patterson. That city is a big enough pain in the ass when it's not flooded! It floods if a bum pisses in the gutter.... so this crazy rain must have really made it crazy!
I live in the swamplands of south jersey. No major flooding here, but it's kinda like living on a sponge. The back 1/3 of my lot has turned into a pond, though.

Because its easier then arguing about it. Its not killing any body, sure its annoying at times and hes his own "Natural Disaster" but most forums have em, if it wasnt him it would be someone else, lol. Just my 2 cents

I would ignore most of the threads if I could. Most of the time, yes... it's just a troll's cry for attention. However, I HAVE to comment in these threads, so I can keep an eye on the people that don't have the maturity and self control to just not respond.

I'm guessing the people that get upset with troll threads are the same people that got upset when they were picked on as kids, right? Same concept... trolls, like bullies, will continue their ways as long as they get some sort of reaction from their target audience. Right now, Geoff practically puts a bullseye on tippey, fatboy, and ralphie... with every thread. And every thread succeeds. The sad thing is, if it does come to banning people, I'll be banning 4 people. Not just one.

My city is in a valley. When it rains like it did a few days ago the whole city turns into a bowl of water. Houses in lower lieing areas get flooded out in 10 feet of water. 5 mile creek turns into a lake. Its impossible to get in or out but it only happens once or twice every 10 years.

Man... Japan simply isn't have a good week at all. First quakes, then tsunamis, and now a volcano? sheesh.

Yeah my house is also in a valley, back on Mother's Day 2001, it rained so hard that man hole covers were blowing off the streets and my stretch of the street was completely flooded. They had to bring in big open top dumpsters for people to throw away their belongings, it was that bad.

Then in 2006 a water main broke under the sidewalk outside our yard and then flowed down our driveway flooding the basement 3 feet up the walls. The sad thing was my mother's 2001 Civic was parked in the garage and we had just mailed off the final payment.

Honestly i would love it if the township came in and offered to buy this property from us.

If you want to see some up to date quake sites here are a few... Japan has had on average a 5.0 like every 15-30 min since the 9.0.(Rough estimate looking at the quakes on USGS. I could be wrong, but theres been over 200 lol)

So you see he's not contributing by targeting the people its bothering....sure the 3 of us could easily ignore him, but hell move on to a new 3.
