Oh I thought so. It used to be that they charged a fee for cc transactions only.

They also get you good on ebay transactions. Ebay owns paypal so they get you for the auction fees, then they charge you a paypal fee to checkout. It's been killing me lately.

I use to have a business on Ebay but after the inflated Ebay and paypal fees start cutting into my profit margin so i stop selling on there.

          Lol.

Im not trying to take money away from them but I hate having to either calculate overages so i dont get hit by the fee or having to accept less money than i planned due to the fee.

If you dont know how to send it as a gift, when you're at the "Send Money" screen and you're entering the amount, there's a tab under the AMOUNT box that you can click and "GIFT" is an option. Check that box.

          Thank You.

I sent the payment for my cb7tuner.com decals as a gift mainly because i know deev would refund my money if the stickers didn't get here. For anything else i send it as a normal payment and i refuse to send an extra 3% to people for their " fees "

I always send as a Gift. Same with shipping items.

I've been royally rectum humped by brokerage and import charges on items not sent as gifts.

I wonder why they have that as an option. I mean, they make their money on the fees... so essentially, they're allowing people to say "you know what... I'm not going to pay you for your services!"

Not that I mind getting decal payments and donations as gifts... not at all...
We had one member here that would donate $1 every month. But he never sent it as a gift, so it came in as about 27 cents. It was appreciated, of course... but he was supporting Paypal more than cb7tuner!

That's almost not worth it. I mean, what can you do with $0.27?

I don't think he realized the fees took 73% of it.

In reality, with roughly 3000 members frequenting this site regularly at any particular time... if they all sent me $1 a month, I'd be doing pretty well!
