If it rings 4 or 6 times, either they didnt hear it or didnt answer.

But when that shit rings 2.5 times and then goes directly to voicemail.....

We know you hit the "FUCK OFF" button. Nothing more rude than that. Either turn your shit off, hit the silence button or give us the decency and let it ring all the way to voicemail.

Only thing worse is pocket dialing someone, then hanging up on them. Instead of being like, "Oh, hey! Sorry, I must've accidentally dialed you. Again..."

Being hung up on is one of my biggest pet peeves. Intentional or not. I swear... Sorry.

When I hit the "fuck off" button, it basically means "I'm busy, but I know you're trying to call me and I'll get right back to you." I never hit that button unless I really AM doing something where I can't answer the phone... on a date, at the register at a store (nothing is more rude than someone in line at a store talking on the phone!), etc...
I figure it at least lets them know that I'm aware that they're calling.



Tippey... wouldn't you say calling someone out in your sig in order to insult them would be considered flaming? I ban for 3-7 days when someone flames ONCE in a thread... such a sig is essentially doing it in every post you've ever made...

I guess I can understand hitting the fuck-off button if you're truly busy and thats where it's hard to judge. But when someone pocket dials you, hangs up and then you call back to be all "wtf?" and it rings 2 times and goes to VM, thats a load of crap. They pocket dialed you, you could hear they werent talking or doing anything that sounded busy and then wont answer your call. Wtf?

I guess I can see it from both sides. I just hate knowing that they're not busy and then i try to call and they intentioanlly send me to VM. If you dont wanna talk, text me and say that. Or answer and tell me. Lie to me if you must, but at least friggin have the balls to say it to me.

I hate it when someone calls me repeatedly and it shows up as "restricted."

If i don't recognize a number i also don't answer it.

I also purposely leave my voice mail box full so that people can't leave me more messages. Anyone who knows me, just sends me a text before hand.

Now that I understand. I usually wont answer if i dont recognize the number. If it says RESTRICTED, no way. If I just dont recognize it, ill think about and see what mood im in. Sometimes i feel like messing with people, lol.

I never pocket dial cuz I always lock my keypad every time I put my phone down/away/in pocket/not in my hand.

My cell phone, other than email is the only way to contact me. We have no land line at my house. My phone is constantly within reach of me at all times, 24/7.

If I can't answer it, I don't. Very rarely do I hit the fuck off button. I always call back as soon as I can. I don't make a lot of phone calls, so when I make or recieve a call, majority of the time it's for something important or urgent.

Me and my wife have the exact same phone and Ive never pocket dialed anyone. She pocket dials me ALL THE TIME! and i dont get how. You can lock the screen and if not, it locks itself after 15 seconds, so im like OMGWTFBBQ!

As for the "Fuck you" button.... I always leave a message. And if it's urgent and they do that? I'll call till they answer.
