We're also not prepared for snow. NJ especially. Plows are slow to respond, drivers panic... it's a clusterfuck.


Every week I've been getting screwed by holidays, sickness, or snow. I feel like there's someone behind me knocking me over as soon as I stand up again. Been going out of my mind with work thanks to all this. It needs to stop!

I have to say i don't miss that.

I do however miss access to the sweetest beaches 24/7....well how close you are im not sure....when i lived in Ft Lauderdale i was 30 mins from the beach.

But the humidity...fack that shit is horrible.

Youve never felt -30 degrees Celsius (without a windchill) before have you?.....I used to say the same thing about the humidity.....thinking that you can dress for the cold....but theres only so much you can do for the heat.

Then I started a job that works outside.....Last night Id have to swing my arms around just to get the blood flowing back into my fingers....its no fun when you cant feel your pinky anymore

Also Id rather have snow than clear skies in the winter.....When its clear out it seems to be bitterly cold....so atleast if its snowing its slightly warmer.....Its a bitch trying to do my job in lots of snow....but at the same time lots of snow makes everything go down to a crawl....so then theres more jobs called meaning mroe money for me.

It just sucks dealing with the dumbass drivers in this city.....its as if we arent in Canada.

if it makes you feel better, low tonight is 37 with rain. high 35, low 14 tomorrow with "wintry mix" which just means shitty shitty weather. you can complain all you want about snow, but there is fuckall worse than rain when its not quite cold enough to snow.
