How old are you? And WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SMOKING!?!?!? Please someone ban this dude before I find out where he lives and give him a bitch slap of reality!
Excellent idea! I'll kidnap you. Figure out how many hours are in 80 years. Multiply that by $6000, and that'll be the ransom!

Fun. I have been putting in some time at a small network solutions company and am getting promoted to L2 Network Support based solely on my technical troubleshooting skills, I have no certs as of yet. I am a few months away from a CCNA tho.

                        $6k an hour? No.
But with your CCNA and other certificates you should get a pretty good job. And they job that your going for now is just the starter salary I assume, and you'll make a lot more down the road in that field if you work hard. Most network administrators make $50-80K a year.

And sir if your living alone and making that much you could have 10 fully loaded CB's if you REALLY wanted too.

Way before that I'd like to be making 100k a year.
The job I'm going to interview for, working full time, wages googled, will only net me 20k a year. Before taxes
                          Ideas?
Get a college degree if you don't have one. It will be well worth the investment if you work hard for four years. Find a part time job, attend community college for two years, then transfer to a university, and bust your ass until graduation.

6k/hour will most likely never, ever happen. However, 100k/year will become a reality within the decade if you go the college route.

I might be able to attain that, or very close to it, if I train to become a Locmotive Engineer, which I'll qualify to do in 2-5 years from now. I'll be 30 in 5 years.
