I saw a popular science DIY a while back where somebody made this into a flashlight. Put sunspots on a cruise ship 3 miles out to sea. Not sure what sun spots are, but it was instant sunburn up close.

Still $1800 a pop. But I think I could reduce that. I'm pretty sure the light bulbs are the ones used for stadiums, so there bound to be expensive.
