I have $10.01 I need to spend, what to get?!

I have a pre paid card with $10.01 left on it and I need to spend it within the next five days or it will go to waste.

I can only spend $10.01, no more or I will get hit with a fee. Less is fine, but kind of a waste.

Shoot me some links or ideas.

go to a store and tell the cashier you want to chager $10.01 on the card and pay the rest in cash or on another card. they will be able to do it

On the back it says "Points can no be redeemed for cash.". I tried it when I first got the card... hate these pre paid pieces of crap.

Gas isn't a bad idea. It's going to suck when I stop it at $10.02...

Go to the nearest dollar store. Walk up and down each isle with a cart until you have 10 items in the card. Give a 1 cent tip to the cashier.

go buy something for $20.01.

tell the cashier that there is exactly $10.01 left on your pre-paid.

he/she will input $10.01 into the register.

you pay the other $10.00 with cash (or whatever else you prefer).

whenever i get one of those, i always use it for gas... its one of the only things that the exact amount being charged is controlled by yourself... anything else will leave a little tiny bit left on the card, and the company is hoping for that. or you could find something cheap but fun from dealextreme.com (free shipping) or yeah, just buy anything else and use it up and pay the difference :P

Technical term for that is split transaction.

For purchasing gas, you have the option of paying for a certain amount beforehand.

Put it on paypal and contribute it to cb7tuner.com. Or just apply it to your paypal account, then have paypal deposit it in your bank account. I think you can do that.
