Call me stupid, but untill Tuesday night, I wasn't aware there was a D X in the fourth gen.! But I guess there is, seeing as how I saw one Tuesday night at Wal*Mart... Gave the owner one of my fliers, and he said he would be sure to check out the site! So, just to be straight, there is the DX, LX, EX & SE?

4th gen DX?!
Nova: A star that suddenly increases it's light output tremendously and then fades away to its former obscurity in a few months or years.
Supernova: One of the rarely observed nova outbursts in which the maximum intrinsic luminosity may reach 100 million times that of the sun.Tags: None

DX: no power anything, no cruise control, unpainted bumpers, handles, and mirrrors, hubcaps, rear drums, etc... PICS
LX: power locks and windows, cruise control, painted bumpers/handles/mirrors, still has hubcaps and rear drums. PICS -- DONT MIND THE LEATHER, thats *ULTRA* uncommon for an LX, but still, it was a dealer option.
EX: power moonroof, rear disc, better motor, alloy wheels, dual tip muffler, other small upgrades PICS
SE: usually the only model that youll see leather in, also the SE spoiler was a little different, and the model came in unique colors. painted mouldings. more often than other models it had stock fogs too. PICS
In canada, all the models were moved up one, the canadian LX is the same as the US DX, canadian EX = US LX... so the canadian version that matched the US EX was teh canadian EX-R... no different than a US EX tho...Last edited by cp[mike]; 02-03-2005, 02:04 PM.

Yea, No CB7's from 90-91 got Rear Discs.
Only the '91 Limited SE (Special Edition).
92-93 ONLY Ex's came with Rear discs. Also
they took away the motorized seatbelts and added the standard ones,
and a supplemental restriant system A.K.A. "The Airbag" for driver side.
It wasnt until the '93 SE where they had a Passenger Side airbag.
Another thing that differs from the DX and the LX/EX is the climate
control setup. On the DX's its controlled by slidding levers. On LX/EX
they are controlled by pushing buttons and turnin knobs .
I have a 92 LX. The only 3 things im missing for it to be a EX is...
1.Sunroof
2.Rear disc brakes
3.the EX motor (IT's not fair cuz the 98-2002 models, the LX and EX have the same motor, 150hp and the DX has the crappy one with 135hp)
