Agreed. Thats very expensive for just a front bumper, even if it is VIS or not. My friends VIS Invader for his 5th gen cost $199 shipped.

depends of you know people and if you know how much they are charging you for the material they use.. the fuzar stuff which we used to fill in the seams first costs around $40 a tube and you can barely do a whole rear bumper mold with that.. then we weld metal over the seam and then glass over that so the molds never crack even if you bottom out.

even on ebay i was quoted $250 shipped. but i would never buy any body kit parts on ebay, i would buy the bumper straight from VIS. i just assumed it will be a little more. but still. i think the money will be WELL worth it in the end..

do it man, it looks absolutely beautiful. thats the only "kit" i would consider putting on my car if i had an intercooler. Bille is the man!

Hey guys, I got quoted today a price of $150.00 for the R33 bumper. He's located near me, so he said I could pick it up to avoid shipping. I got my hood from this guy, so I know he only has quality shit for the most part. Anyone think this is a good price?

sounds really good; but make sure its from VIS or Versusmotorsports(Versus has their company name branded on the inside). these two companies manufacture high-quality kits. if you don't mind me asking, which shop in the NY area are you buying this from?

Are you making your hood over lap the headlights also like Bille's. His car gave me the idea for that look with my homemade eyelids.

if you needed anything, I could prolly hook you up. (As far as 3m adhesives to "glue" the bumpers together or whatnot.) Im still getting familiar w/all the stuff, not sure how to use it all, but if you know someone that knows what you will need, I could price it out for you.
