help with photoshop

anybody know how to make an image smaller i wanna make a new signiture and cant make it smaller in size, and what are some good tricks in photoshop i can do, i only did the light glaring off my roof lol....

load up the image and go to the image menu (next to edit) and go to Image size.. u can resize from there. photoshop just takes alot of playing around... also downloading a bunch of plugins makes it fun. all plugins including the standard ones are under the Filter menu (probly where u found the glare)... theres alot of cool stuff in there for things like a sig.

ya but how do i save it as a smaller picture cuz when i save it and open it in paint its still huge...

do file-Save for Web (always do this if saving to paste on a website), and what u see on the left is the actual size the image will come out as. on the right theres a tab called "Image size", pick a new size in the boxes and click apply.. repeat until the image on the left is the size u want, then click save and pick a filename.

I go to file -> automate -> fit image.
