you are being rediculous. do you guys know anyting at all about the chimp? the Famous, well-loved, perfect Chimp, who suddently went ape-shit, and got shot down by police? sounds a little bit like our president once he got into office, regardless of skin color. they are taking 2 current event issues and using them to make an indirect comparison at calling our president a monkey.

I never understood how people look at skin colour as a determining factor in anything.

I have made jokes in the past about painting the whitehouse black (which should be taken as a compliment and step forward) but calling someone a monkey clearly has derogatory written all over it.

This just means.. whoever wrote the bill was a monkey, it has nothing to do with him being black. Get over yourselves, if it was done when Bush was president, people would have been fine with it.

you all are assuming that they are refering to black people as monkeys. I didn't take it that way at all when I read it. I took it as more like an idiot drew up the stimulus bill. Don't forget that George W. also had an economic stimulus bill.

well bush actually does kinda look like a monkey imo. I guess people were offended because on a surface level, all they see is stimulus/monkey/gun
