    Help using craigslist email?

When I click on an email on craigslist, it opens up outlooks express email, instead of my hotmail. How do I change it so it will open up hotmail?

i saw a set of 17" meshies on CL for only 200 bucks but i couldn't figure out how to get ahold of the seller either otherwise they'd be mine. i don't use hotmail because if i click that link at the top, then it opens up hotmail.

it shouldnt open up a website. it never has and never will. you cannot clink a link and have it go to your hotmail. you have 2 options. 1 is to cut and paste. 2 is to use outlook or outlook express to access your hotmail.

If your using IE you can have it go to Hotmail.

Tools - Internet options - Programs - Email. Change the e-mail from outlook, to Hotmail (Windows live mail).

A "Finished" project car is never finished until its been sold.

If at first you don't succeed, Try again. Don't give up too easily, persistance pays off in the end.

Thanks for attempting to help, the people who are saying "it's impossible" are morons. On my other computer, it opens up hotmail for me as when i click on a email address.

Cutting and pasting is a hassle, and annoying when on my other computer it opens it up for me.

But that didnt help, when i got to email under internet options, hotmail isnt a choice, only outlook express is. any other ideas?
