I wanted my old whip on the front when I won AOM but never got it even tho Ben(Phempa) made a nice frontpage with a good pic I had

I think we all would. That would be awesome. Gives another incentive than just having AOM underneath your username. It shows your appreciation and dedication to the CB chassis. But its all up to Ben (Phempa) if he has the time each month to do so. He's a busy guy. Unless someone else who has the time is willing to take the job off of Ben's hands and update it each month with the current AOM winner. I would do it, but I don't have Photoshop on my laptop.

Yeah, I think the front page needs to be updated to. I think it's too busy, I wish it was clean and simple. I like the Forums layout, black w/red type, it looks fresh and new, but it does need an update.

I would like to see some real web/graphic design skills on the front page. I am great with design and graphics. If there will be any re-design, don't hesitate to PM me, I'd love to help out

ive always been more for the simple splash image that we USED to have originally (only updated with major forum revision upgrades) but people complained EWW ITS TOO BORING YOU NEED TO UPDATE IT so we opted for the idea of updating it with the AOM as the background. then we realized thats a lot of work for a page that nobody looks at, and nobody really put forth the effort of keeping it updated, since half the time the AOM winner doesnt have a "calendar quality" pic to use anyway.

No offense taken at all. I already know my car looks like crap and didn't deserve the front page. And that picture is actually Aaron's. That was a shot he took when we were at Whittier Park..I remember Aaron PSing it by sharpening the edges and it came out worse when it was uploaded for the site.

Its not up to Deev. Deev doesn't handle the front page. Phempa does. Phempa is the one that deals with the picture for the front page and uploads it and then puts it for CB7tuner.

what needs to be done to have the front page pic changed? i can photoshop a pic and then give it to who ever needs to add it to the web code for the front page. pic is that simple, code what ever yall use.

Hey Mike, can we make it like a moving slideshow collage like you made way back when?

I think AOTM is too much, AOTY is cool but obviously it isn't working out.

I think the best idea is to try to make use of the script that Cpmike made so when the page loads you see a moving slideshow of all the pictures that cb7tuner has on the website...that way it doesn't really need to be updated....it kind of works on its own.

Yeah, but no offense to anyone especially since I've added some crappy pictures myself, but the crappy pictures will get cycled through as well and you don't want that on the main page. They would have to be hand selected pics put into a separate directory and then have the pics randomized from that directory only.

plus when you type down "JDM ACCORD" on google pictures you see this car as the first result

He doesnt even own the car any more... There are tons who look up to that car because it was a nice piece to show off.

Well I liked it back in 03 when we didn't have to argue about who's car needs to be on the front page.
