Huge lump just appears on my right hand this afternoon. Or should i say, i noticed a hug lump that wasnt there hours before. About the size of a half dollar. About 1/8" tall. Still there but its gone down a bit.
I left work and headed to the ER. A couple hours and a few x-rays later, they think its "just a contusion". Its not hard, but its not full of liquid. Doc says it felt "fatty". "Seeing as how it appeared so suddenly, i dont wanna go sticking any needles or drains in it, in the case it may introduce infection."
No pain. At all. If i make a tight fist, it kinda hurts and i imagine if i bang it against something solid, it'll hurt.
My first thought was "blood clot". Not sure why, but...
Then "cyst" but they take time to form, not suddenly.
If anyone's interested, i can get pics up tomorrow.
Just freaked me out and kinda really had me going there for awhile. Follow up in about a week. Ice/ace bandage, plus IBUPROFEN(anti-inflammatory).
