    Decisions, decisions, decisions! (wheel shopping...)

I know this could be in the Wheels section, but it's more of a shopping dilemma than a wheel dilemma. Therefore, I'll put it here...

I'm stuck. Really stuck. I have my BBS rims that need a little repair work that I just don't feel like doing for rims I'm not 100% in love with... Upon the sale of those rims (*ahem*) for like $500 (yes, that's a plug ) I plan on buying some rims that I AM in love with. Here are the options I have narrowed it down to...

    Well, first, the requirements:
I want to get all of this, or at least most of it...

    -1- 16"
    -2- Bronze
    -3- Lightweight
-4- As wide as possible, though 7" seems to be the standard (7.5 is preferred)
    -5- Japanese
    -6- Nice looking
-7- Under $500 shipped for the rims alone OR
-8- Under $900 shipped for rims and tires (mounted and balanced)
-9- Brand new, or in near-new condition
-10- The deeper the dish/lip the better
    Tough requirements, eh?

Here's what I found so far that I kinda like. Feedback would be great, and more options would be awesome!

    Rota Subzeros: Requirements met = 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, and kinda 10

    Enkei 5+: Requirements met = 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9

    Enkei PK6 (17" only): Requirements met = 4, 5, 6, 9, 10... I LOVE that deep dish, though only 7" wide total

    Konig Helium (17"): Requirements met = 2, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10... Wheel and tire package for $799

All of these wheels have SOME of my requirements, and oddly enough, I'm leaning towards the 17" Konigs. Can anyone suggest some others? Price, quality, and color are very important

True, slips are pretty hot too... and VERY light for inexpensive wheels. Lots of colors to choose from as well. Something about them doesn't do it for me appearance wise though. I've heard stories of people who've had them mistaken for steelies constantly. I want a LITTLE showiness to my car!

maybe you could do the repair work to the BBS's and then get the refinished with a bronze coating

i think those would look off the hook, plus i like the way they already look on your car

I dunno... I'm just not into the BBSs... I really liked em for a little while, but I think I'd rather just get new. To me, painting them would be rather disrespectful to the design plus, the nearest repair place is about 2 hours from me in Bath PA (just west of North Jersey) and I don't have the time to go up there. Not to mention the tires on my steelies are just about shot, so I really can't wait all that long!

I'm pretty much selling the wheels for what I paid for just the 4 wheels and tires. I paid an extra $75 (GREAT deal) for the one new wheel, and another $22 to have one new tire (that came with the rims) mounted and balanced (not on the new wheel, that's still bare). I just want to start over.

What about picking up a set of 96 ITR wheels and having them powdercoated or painted bronze? That shit would be hot and VERY original....

There was actually someone selling a set of those, already bronzed... I dunno. I thought about it. I know they are light, and they would fit... But I feel like painting them myself is kinda tacky. Plus, it's expensive!

well deever you know im a rota fan which i love the subs and i think they would look sick since no one really has them on cb7s and there not as popular as the slipstreams. i also like the konig heliums there very nice looking wheels the only thing that i dont like is that there 17s but i guess its not that bad.

The Heliums, even though they're 16", are lighter than my badass BBSs... and even lighter than most of Enkei's lightweight racing wheels

i still think the subzeros are my vote. theyd look hot and they cover almost all of ur criteria, and they were the original wheel you were considering...

i think a photochop is in order.

Can anyone chop the Subzeros and the Heliums on my car for me? Or just a CB7 in general, even?

I'm feeling the pull of the Heliums harder and harder I'm REALLY considering them.

damn they look pretty pimp. but as you know im a subzero fan. i mean if you could get the heliums in 16 then i would be kinda stuck but since you have to go 17 with them i would just get the rotas instead in 16
