Quoting page numbers????

Am I the only one who thinks it's odd that people quote page numbers on their threads? I find it annoying to see that some people show that they have updated pics on page 2, 6, 9 &14....blah blah blah. Does everyone have their setting the same except me? The page numbers never make sense unless you have your settings the same as the poster. Just my rant. sorry

I have mine on 40 posts per page, and things are never on the same pages as stated. Doesnt really matter, its a quick conversion, but I guess it could be annoying if you were looking for something in a hurry.

Why give the shortcut to later pages. Make ppl look through the whole damn thing.

If starts getting long, delete posts.

Thats why i just like adding new pics to the main page or just adding them on the last page. Most ppl click the "newest post" anyway...

Just add new pics to the first post... and link to individual posts in the thread that have stuff you want to see.


Or, like some smart people with foresight... make a few "reserved" spots in the beginning of the thread for updates!

i only link to them in my MR for my own benefit, and whoever else kept the default setting. everybody else with a custom post count setting can just deal.

though i especially hate people who never update their first post and keep saying "new pics on page 1, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29, and 32!!"

I gave up updating mine lol. And most of the pics that I say updated most likely dont work. I am just lazy.
