i love workin at my bank... its a smaller credit union though, so its not as stressful with psych members... mostly the local teachers, cops, etc. worked there for 2.5 years so far.
i think its fucking easy as shit. i walk in, exchange money back and forth for a few hours, then go home without any stress or worrying about "following up" with anything the next day.
its really not much more beyond a cashier... im a cashier who sells and exchanges money... though its a nice atmosphere, clean, professional, yet laid back enough to be able to joke with coworkers and get to be friendly with the members.
im a teller but im one of their best and im often being a supervisor opening/closing branches. really its a simple clean job that pays well. exactly what i need while im finishing school. definitely not a career job, at least for me. if youre good at sales and stuff, being a loan officer has potential to make a good incentive check along with the pay.
plus, you learn a shitload of very useful financial stuff. ive learned a LOT of things that are going to be good to know for myself in the future... plus, i can count money like no otherLast edited by cp[mike]; 03-14-2008, 12:02 AM.

yea my first post made it sound really negative. i actually do enjoy it. a large majority of the people who come in are really nice and i've learned a lot about how savings and other accounts work. plus the pay's good for someone who just got out of highschool.Originally posted by deevergote. And please, for the love of God, type like a human being!

I work at BOA and i get to repo cars and get title for people who pay off their loan. I like my job pretty easy not to much stress and you can't beat the benefits. But ya pay is ok unless you are like my mom. She is senior vp of bank of america wish i got her pay but not the stress. More money= more stress~Nick~

I worked for BOA for about 2 years and then quit.. it was really stressful!! I was the one that had to do the paperwork to repo cars for ppl not paying lol then you'd get this call "WHY YOU TAKE MY CAR, IM GUNNA PAY"

My father used to work for banks all his life. He got his cardiac arrest while in office fighting with the HQ people on some shitty policy they came up with.
His last post was the branch manager (was going to be promoted to an executive post), but he resigned after getting a few more attacks the following weeks.
