the website states it's for a 1990-1993 accord. yet we all know by now (at least i hope that we do), that 1990/91 trunks are different from 1992/93 coupe trunks, which are different from 1992/93 sedan trunks.

add to that, the description states
HOOD WITH WITHSTAND HEAT FROM THE ENGINE, COMPLETE BOLT-ON HOOD
so, they're selling an item which clearly isn't designed for all 4th gen accords (you'll have to change your lights, unless you have the ones that fit that trunk, which appears to be a 1992/93 sedan from that pic) and it has a description about hoods.

The Ebay auction was for a 92-93 sedan, so i'd go with that. Plus like you said that's exactly what it looks like.

but a product advertised on an independent site as a 1990-93 accord trunk bothers me. it may not bother you, but it bothers me, as they don't seem to know what they have. of course it will fit the car, but the tails may not fit, and the site makes absolutely no mention of that.

who knows, you could end up with a trunk that doesn't look like that.

but the fact that they actually have a picture of a real 4g carbon fiber trunk...which have never been professionally produced in the past, then where did that pic come from? good indication that that might be something they actually have in stock...

idk. i guess i'm always skeptical. they could have lifted it from carbonfiber1.com (i think that's the site for the first group buy stickydiljoe put together) for all we know.

As far as I know, www.jdmcarboy.com has the trunk lids in production for either 90-91, or 92-93, and you can choose between VIS, or seibon, as the company, but I don't remember being able to choose between a 2dr or 4dr chassis......hmmmm....the price seems legit though....
