Make our own si-t bumper lights?

Do you guys think it's possible to buy ebay 92-93 clears and open up 90-91 bumper lights to extract the amber reflector to place it into the 92-93 clears to create the jdm si-t lights?

I've been contemplating it for a while, but never really understood how the 90-91 amber reflector is placed nor do I know its shape.

There's a thread in the noobie forums from a guy that made his own red/clear tails. They came out great, I'm sure following his template you can have the results you want.

Snatch a few bumper lights from the jy and try it out.

I put amber bulbs on mine and you can kinda see the amber in there.

Dazz, is that just an amber bulb in a clear light or is there an amber reflector in there as well?

                    very simple

i broke apart some 90-91 signal lights took out the reflectors, then i placed them on the outside of the 92-93 ebay clears and marked where i wanted them

i then dremeled out where i marked then slid the reflector inside and siliconed the part i just cut out (also holds the reflector in place)

sry but i have no pics of when i did it

oh so you didnt actually open up the bumper light but cut a hole to fit the reflector inside?

looks really good, but why not just use a amber bulb? which will also give off a amber reflect when the bulb is off?

                            exactly

i only cut just enough to slide the reflector inside without taking it apart
