ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

f22b2 driver side motor mount problem

so i bought my cb7 with a f22b2 already in it but i have a problem with the driver side motor mount. the motor had the mount for the cb7 on it with only one bolt in, supposed to have two. not safe and mount broke anyways. so after that i got the mount for the 94-97 accord that the f22b2 comes in. it obviously bolted up to the motor but didnt fit in the mount bracket. so we grinded down the side of mount to make it fit and got it in and bolts lined up fine too. started up the car and noticed a loud grinding noise. so the crank was grinding on the wheel well. the we cut a whole in the wheel well and thats where its at know. runs fine i guess, except for when it pulls it goes to left and when i shift it goes to the right, i dont know if this is the reason but w/e. motor has a gangster lean and i want to fix it.

    options:
    1) get longer bolts and put washers between mount and motor? i was told its not safe.
    2) drill a hole in the bracket to make mount sit lower? maybe?
    3) yall tell me.

unfortunately the CB7 motor mount is different than the CD accord mount. it is not just different height-wise (tipped motor) but will also make the motor sit crooked from front to back. the same problem happens to 9497 accord owners attempting to install a cb's F22A motor, but in the opposite way.

you need to use the CB7 motor mount, paired with the CB mount bracket that it bolts to, the part that goes underneath the timing cover... but i hear that that bracket doesnt mate up perfectly and not all of the bolts will line up.

thats why many people say F22B2's are more work than they are worth . . .

so you mean change the bracket on the motor?

i really want to get an H22 but i dont have the money. i dont understand why the motor was changed out in the first place. i have a 92 ex which should have an f22a6 right? which is better than the f22b2 right?
