I searched eBay for "fantastic wide led white" and found these:

Made some simple straps with ducting tape


Connect leads (polarity sensative)

Install and pinch the straps between the lense and the trunk lid

Turn on and enjoy your cheap mod!!

these are also very commonly used for dome lights, line two of them next to each other. they come with mounting screw holes as well as solder tabs to daisy chain them. and they are super bright!

properly arranged in series with a single current limiting resistor! none needed, its made to run off 12v.
