    JHM & 1HG Cobalt Blue

    i noticed some difference on my friends cobalt blue CB as mine is of the same color too.. so i checked the paint codes..

    JHM vin




    1HG vin



    now i had it parked side by side and another thing caught my eye..

        the JHM is on the left and look at the glass.. BRONZE top tint..

          nah meng, mines a 1HG and it has bronze type tint at the top too.

            whats so different with the color?? besides the code....

            wouldnt it be hard to make a comparison since you have to consider where the cars been/condition of paint/weathering/etc etc.

            but i have a JHM vin and no bronze tint for me.

              first time ive seen bronze tint!!! deever always said it was out there and he wanted it

              and yes paint can look pretty drastically different after 15 years, cars all weather differently. i wonder what actually makes the -3 different though.

                1HG= B-54P-3 had darker shade of blue. i compared the paint in the door jambs and inner side of the trunk hatch since it's not that much exposed to the weather..

                  some replacement windshields have that bronze tint to them. later.

                    I just had my windsheild replaced on my prelude and they asked what color I wanted the stripe at the top... gold, blue, or none. Most places keep the blue and clear in stock, but the gold is often a special order thing.

                      dam, i just looked at my winshield that i got off of a wrecked '91 LX and it has the blue stripe at the top. i want a bronz one now LOL.

                        mine has a bronze tint. i would rather have blue because my car is, well, blue
