Auto to manual swap using Prelude compnents

well i have a friend now has most of the auto to manual swap from a BB1 prelude (92-96) Prelude i was wondering what out of that can i use towards my manual swap?

i know for sure the tranny (duh!)
    Pedals?
i know the lines have to be custom... but i dont know where to start
    Shifter?
    Shifter Cables?
i know i have to use accord axles
    Slave Cylinder?

    ECU i already have

.... am i missing anything else?

for the clutch theres the pedal, master cylinder with resevoir, the first hard line that leads to the clutch damper assy, which has a rubber line that leads to teh top ofthe tranny, which then has a hard line to the slave cylinder... so u need all of that... if you now where each one leads to, you can get an average length from advance auto or somewhere and bend it to match. slave cylinders are the same between the ludes/accords... use accord axles... and i believe hybrid90accord used a prelude shifter and cables in his car, but confirm that they work with him... and i dont know about the master cylinder and pedals. MC for an accords is $50 at autozone. pedals u might need to get for an accord, not sure tho. of course youll need the tranny, clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel. and whatever accessories that come with the tranny... like the speed sensor and reverse switch etc... also the side mount should be different - youll probably need a manual mount from an accord, and ul have to tap the tranny if its from the lude too. also the bracket thats welded onto the car itelf that holds onto the rubber mount - im pretty sure those differed between autos and manuals... so ull need to grind that off and get the manual one welded on. im not definite on that, but thats what ive heard.

    am i missing anything?

Hmmm... I don't know dude, According to my Honda EPS software most of the parts are different between the BB1 and the CB7. That doesn't necessarily mean things won't work but it makes it harder to tell without actually tring to swap parts.

Is this stuff going to be real cheap? How much could the Accord parts cost from a salvage yard?

i know this thread is super old, but it came up in a search, and i figured i would add the info that i know, in case people find it in the future...

about using 92-96 prelude parts for doing an auto->manual swap:

i used the following ***prelude*** parts, anything else should be accord (like the mounts and stuff):

              - shifter assembly
              - shifter cables
              - clutch pedal
              - brake pedal arm
              - master cylinder and resevoir
              - main clutch line
              - damper assembly and rubber line
              - secondary hard clutch line, thats on the tranny
              - slave cylinder
              - tranny itself and all its parts, like starter, etc
              - intermediate shaft and driver side inner CV joint, mounted on accord driver side axle
              - flywheel
              - flywheel to crank bolts
              - pressure plate to flywheel bolts
              - my clutch kit was labeled for a prelude

so tadaa, so if you can find the 5spd conversion parts from a prelude easier than you can find them for an accord, go ahead and grab them, they work fine.

these parts still need to be from an accord:

              - passenger side axle (keep your auto accord one, its the same as the accord manual one... dont swap it out for the prelude manual one)
              - driver side axle, minus the inner CV joint (or you could just use the whole ACCORD driver side axle AND intermediate shaft together. you only need to swap inner CV joints if using the prelude intermediate shaft)
              - 5spd tranny mount plate that goes under the rubber mount (reuse the rubber mount itself, it just gets mounted to a new baseplate so it can get bolted to the new tranny)
              - 5spd tranny mount bracket that gets welded to the car

thats all i can think of for the moment.
