swapping auto for manual brake pedal

    Hey
I am working on the auto to manual conversion on my car. Does anybody know if i can just swap the auto brake pedal for the new manual brake pedal? The brake pedal is held on the swing arm by one bolt. I wonder if the bolt hole locations are the same for both the auto and manual pedals? It would save me a beast of some work if that's possible. I had to drop the steering column down to get the entire manual swing arm down at the junkyard.

glad you asked before you took the time to swap out the whole assembly because yes, the arm swaps right over. unhinge/unspring the old one and put the new one in place

    welcome to cb7tuner!!!

awesome.. i figured as much. it hit me once i got home last night. i was like hmm i bet i could've just taken that bolt out and taken the pedal instead of dropping the column down and fighting that beast for 30 min. i thought i would ask though to make sure. i didn't want to go pulling that pedal off only to find that it wouldn't work. thanks man

I got the brake pedals swapped last night, but i couldn't find the torque value for the bolt that holds the brake arm onto the assembly. It was on there freakin tight, so I just put it on as tight as i could, but does anybody know what it should be?
