Well it sucks I mean I sometimes wish you could turn back time..go back to when the 4th gens first came out go to a dealership and really see what the options are.

IMO theres no really distinction between the 90-91 only that the 91s had mirrors that matched the body color wise.

I think on 90 DX coupes the only came with one mirror, and 91s on had two.

Like I said its a real rare thing to find a pristine CB7 with all the factory options available for its time.

I looked at the Honda Dealership at the 7th gens.

Holy shit is there a huge diff in 14 years time.

I wish i had factory xm satellite and all that good shit that comes with the new ones.

Ours look really crude compared to the newer models.

I think only in Japan will you be able to find a car filled with all the factory options.

The 92-93 SEs had a Bose soundsystem, and the Integra 94-2001 model year borrows interior designs from the 4th gen Accords.

Only three colors Ive seen with an SE (92-93s)

    Gold
    Black
    Blue

    Koni/Neuspeed
    1992 Accord LX R.I.P
1993 Accord EX OG since 'o3

wed3K, I think the reason that your mirrors are painted on your 90 lx sedan is the fact that your car has been painted. I know this because the part on the bumper where the fog lights go is painted white. It was originally black.

I think that there is a difference between 90-91. I think that 91s have tail lights similar to the 92-93 but they still have the same front bumper. I could be wrong but I think I have seen a few like that. What do you guys think?

nopers, what u saw was probably a 1991 owner who swapped a 9293 trunk lid onto their car.

I think i got sumthing to add.....

          When comparing a 90 and a 91
I believe the 1990's had a darker shade of Amber in the tail lights...
The 1991's amber was a bit lighter...

maybe due to the fact that the lights had a year longer to sit out in the sun?

                not completely,

if you look closely, where the corner tails meet with the lid tails, theirs a slant,

no slant on the non wagons

My 90LX sedan came with painted mirrors as well ..

Really great thread idea here .. I've been racking my brains to think of something ..
but its all pretty much the same .. when I see another cb7 on the road .. I simply go..
"oh .. 90/91" or "92/93" with that rare exception of "Oooo, an SE!" lol

I have seen about a half a dozen different front bumpers tho .. but come to think of it,
I dont even remember what trim line they were .. and a couple could have been
                    aftermarket, not oem ...

If there is an answer to this thread .. its a subtle one at that ...

                      i think the answer is

                      keep tuning

cause our cars are flippin sweet

I know of no differences externally except the VIN number if you get the chance to see one, then you can tell exactly what year.

I have noticed since we have both a 91 SE solaris silver w/black leather seats and a 93 10th anniv. edition LX frost white....that both of these cars in stock form have the chassis sitting lower to the ground than the 90 EX, 91 EX (when it was stock) and 91 DX that we have. I noticed this because I have to use my lower profile jack to jack up the cars from the front, whereas I can jack up the front on the last 3 cars I mentioned with the higher profile jack. I remember back in the day I compared the OEM springs and the SE had different part #'s.

Also, did they offer different colors per year? Maybe that can help if you memorized them all and what year they came out.

It's kinda hard to tell these days since these cars are now 12-15 years old, alot have been repainted different colors, body panels have been replaced...sometimes with one from the wrong year, not to mention so many people have purposely modified their cars to make them different. All this can cause confusion and make it hard to tell which years actually came with what from the factory, as well as the differences from year to year. However, I vividly remember when these cars were brand new....all the way back to the first 90 I saw in the fall of 89, so I'll lay it all out for everyone....the official differences between 90 & 91 as well as 92 & 93. Aside from the obvious 91 SE, 93 SE, and 93 10th annv, here is what I remember....

                          90/91

                          -Laurel Blue only in 90
-LX's had black mirrors only in 90 (EX always had body color)
-Frost white 90's had maroon interior (white 91+ had blue int)
-to pull a code on a 90 you had to pull back the carpet and look through a little sightglass on the ECU which contained a red LED, this LED would blink the code (91+ the code blinks the CEL)

                          92/93

-auto trans shift timing was revised for 93
-all 93 auto trans cars had gray shift knobs (90-92 shift knobs were matched to the interior color)

thats all I can think of right now.....
                          00 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8 4X4

                          92 Honda Accord LX

                          95 Honda Civic CX

Woah, so now i know wherether a car is a 92 or 93.
Im still not sure about 90/91...

Are you 100% sure you couldn't get the DX in LBM in 91? I know they only made the LX in my color in 90, but I swear I've seen a 91 DX.

What about the Tan interiors? My friend's gf has a 90, an d I'm almost positive it has a black shift knob on her auto.

Laurel blue 91 DX huh....hmmmm, you may be right but I know the LX's in that color were only in 90. As for the shift knobs in the 93's, yes I think the tan interior cars still had black, I was reffering to blue and maroon interiors having the gray ones for 93. The only reason I know all this is like I said earlier, I remember when these cars were new, plus I work for Honda so I drive and work on all different kinds of CB7's all the time.
