good point, so youre saying that i should look for some oil on the ground? by leak you mean leaking to the outside right?

your losing oil, or burning it? it your leaking it, it should be from a noticable spot. if your burning it thats another story.

What up everybody, DirtySouthHonda is back! It's been a while since I've talked to any of you. I'm actually looking into buying another Accord to replace my stolen CB7, either a CB7 coupe or the 6th gen Accord coupe. Hopefully by that time, I'll be driving down for the historic Accord meet. Only time will tell.

on another topic: this guy wants to trade me a 98 accord lx coupe 5 speed for my integra but it has 220k on the body, he says he can put another engine in it before i trade it, he travels alot on it, he has been to new york on and texas and other places, he says that they are mostly highway miles, i want to do but at the same time i love my sunroof and 4 disc brakes and that extra cam is not bad at all, if it was an ex ill do it in a heart beat, what do you guys think, those cars are hard to come buy in 5 speed

I would definitely look into it, see what engine swaps can be executed (low milage especially). Mabye something stronger than what is currently in there now.

okay i changed the oxygen sensor on my car and while down there i noticed there was some oil around the oil pan gasket and where the transmission and engine met, but nothing enough to make the oil light come on, and again no oil spots

how many times has the oil light came on, was it just that one time? and does the oil level read low on the dip stick as well? later.

it was just that one time, and the dipstick barely had oil at the bottom tip of it, so it was basically empty, i put a whole bottle of that lucas oil stablelizer in there to thickened up the oil and poures like two quarts in there and it went to just below midway, but that is my first oil change

i keep fighting to find time to do that stupid compression test but were right in the middle of moving and i had some free time today and long and behold i had already moved all my stupid tools to the stupidto new house, i was pretty upset, i hope is not the rings, some people say it may be the rear man seal, ill be able to narrow it down some more hopefully after i do the test

Oh, hell yeah I did. It came down crazy. I didn't think it snow over here like that. It was insane.

yeah it does snow around here every five to seven years. it was about time people were starting to forget that snow falls in Georgia. It was looking like a mini blizzard outside for a while. now it looks like a nice spring day. never could tell it even snowed. welcome to the wacky state of Georgia ECalvo31.
