Hey everybody, my name is Jon. The magic started when my kick ass sound system got stolen out of my 92 Accord EX coup automatic. With the money I got back from my insurance I was able to buy a much cleaner 92 Accord EX coup 5 speed manual. So far I have installed a short air ram intake, 3" cat-back exhaust (for the sound of the resonator and the size for a turbo in the future) with a nice sounding resonator and a stainless steel tubular muffler. I installed clear front bumper lenses and corner lenses. I have blue LED diode lamps in the corner running light, soon to have some for the corner signals. HID headlights- 8K (but they look a lot like 6K to me, I bought some LED running lights that are 6" long and 1" tall and mounted them on the bottom lip of the front bumper. I painted all the trim and door guards, and bumper guards the same color as the car (it has a code but it's called Seattle Silver- and I live in Seattle), repainted the bumpers. I bought Koni STR/T struts and H&R Sport lowering springs. I finished installing the fronts today ($20 on a Haynes CB7 manual was the best $20 I ever spent), I'll install the rears in the next day or so.
My plans, post time lapse pictures of the evolution of my project, buy a Fidanza light weight fly wheel, and an ACT 6 puck sprung clutch kit and wait for my throw out bearing to go (it's ok but I can feel the ware), tint the windows, tear out the back seat, swap over the Stop Tech. cross drilled and slotted front rotors I had on the other Accord along with all the ceramic brake pads, and start saving for a T3/T4 turbo kit. I could use some advise on which brand of turbo I should go for. I've heard mixed reviews about ebay performance parts, I don't want to get a piece of junk just to save a buck.
