Even though aftermarket nav units are way more practical, I have always wanted to play around with the OEM navigation stuff. So I found a nav unit and screen from a 2000 Honda Odyssey and I installed it in the Accord.
The screen unit is larger than I expected and is actually a double din unit. It fits into standard Honda dd radio openings and even the mounting holes are the same as newer hondas that use side brackets. The nav unit is quite large as well but fits under the seat easily.
Wiring is the basic stuff, 12v, ign, gnd, ill dimmer plus vss, rev, and alt light. Add 9 wires between nav unit and screen for video/control and you have it fully functioning. Voice guidance can be hooked up with another 3 wires. I also wired in a RGB convertor to display video off my ipod.
