    new lens

    i got a ef-50mm f1.8 all i have to say is it is sickkk.

    heres a sample pic i took @ f1.8 manual focused on the right

      Can't shoot without lenses....

            thanx guys. the lens arent long johnny its actualyl really small and short. i do regret not buying it from the start. this might be my primary lens for a while haha

              oh, i didn't mean long physically. i ment long lense as compared to wide angle lenses.

                    Yup, I got a nifty fifty. Looks like a nice lens. I've done 2 photoshoots. 1 with the kit lens and the next one with a 50mm f/1.8 with a UV filter. I don't know if I got "better" due to advice given on this board, but i feel the 50mm pictures came out better. It seems to get some high praise on POTN as a bang for the buck. Hope you enjoy it.

                        the lens is sick as hell no matter what kind of glass u shoot with the 50 is almost always still highly used/regaurded....

                          My 50mm cost me $250. Of course, mine's a 50mm f/1.4 so the extra cost was justified. Rugged, razor sharp and lightning fast.
