Your pictures are looking great Phil. What i suggest is that you should have more of a center focus, meaning that, for instance, your flowers should in the center. Another thing is that you should have even space all around your object, so that it doesn't throw off your pictures.

you don't necessarily have to do it when u take the pic. most poeple don't and just crop it on ps. cus u might use the pic for something else

I agree....there is a difference between being off centre, and intentionally using the "rule of thirds", your flowers appear to be only slightly off centre, which doesn't work well here. Other than that, they are very nice though.

Yeah for some reason I always use the rules of third for everything... Well practice makes perfect
