Try taking this shot http://i453.photobucket.com/albums/q...G_8593-1-1.jpg going 80+MPH with some decent cross winds. The camera was less than a foot off the road.

Thank you, I would have liked to stay longer and get perfect angles on all of them, but there were sooooo many people there.

And in case anyone was having trouble deciding between the Canon 70-300 IS or the 70-200 F4L, there is no competition. The L owns.

I like the light on that second shot. Worked out well, looks kind of intimidating.

Ha! Why not just take slow moving shots?

Yea thats what i was thinking the whole time looking at those. Just slow down the car and the shutter speed. Rig style.

I haven't wanted to take any pictures of my e30 since it's really ugly right now. But boredom overcame me.

I love this 55-200mm I'm borrowing. I must buy one.

                        Edit:

Pic 1: So far I've decided that background is busy... but I still like the shot.
Pic 2: wheel is turned a bit too much and poles are in the way. ghay. :/

ONe more. Yes I wasted time taking a picture of myself. I like how it turned out though or I wouldn't succumb myself to internet haterz.

Thanks, I definitely think it's going to be my favorite way to shoot cars. The extra zoom gives a better perspective imo.

It's hard to find backgrounds that don't distract yet are still interesting though.
