Took some pics around the school today with my roommate with my new 55-200mm lense. Took all the pics without switching out to my 18-55mm just for kicks.


Should have changed the whitebalance, but it looks ok.

With Chris always talking about how great to have a Flash is, I went ahead and bought one.

The flash freezes the image. That's how the steering wheel emblem stayed in focus, because the flash went off right there. Honestly, I can't explain it for shit because I just copied what J-spec was saying. He has a picture a page or two back of a DJ that better shows the technique. He can explain a lot better, he explained it a page or two back.

basically what it boils down to is, if u use a flash the flash will freeze motion of whatever is lit by it, so long as the exposure doesnt overcome the flash output. Strong sources of light will blur and leave trails and what-not but whatever generally is right in front of the flash and dark will be solid and sharp.
