*Official Photography Thread* (56k warning)

That's a Manfrotto Super Clamp (a very common clamp, also referred to as a Mafer clamp or a master clamp). New, they cost about $25 each. I have nine of these and there are actually six being used in the image above:


The super clamp is attached to an umbrella adapter via a male-male pin. These are plastic and really aren't made to be used like this, but the foam core is so light that it's ok. They go for about $20-30 and I have two of these:

Which bodies do you have? I do want a 5Dc backup because I love the classic and mine has been taking a beating.

Great shot of the Golden Gate Bridge. Always nice to see the ocean side shot occasionally.

I've been decently lazy and only taking pictures on big trips. Only two shots in the past three years I really like.

First picture is from a Auburn football game. I was fortunate enough to have my friend who I shot with at UT who is now the head athletics photographer at Auburn invite me down for a game. Got this shot before the game. My friend told me just the other day no one has been able to recreate it after the past two seasons. It got a decent amount of attention from their twitter feed and they actually printed it out for their facilities, which was pretty cool (Even if it is a better crop than what I had originally done )





The second image is the one below, which is of a lighthouse between the northern tip of Long Island and New London, CT, which I traversed between on a recent northeastern roadtip. I took this from the car ferry and I instantly knew it would become one of my favorites and it still, many months later, maintains that status.

Welp-

I have not been shooting at all for myself lol. Mostly paid shoots as I am busting my hump so that I can afford to pick up a MKIII and hopefully pair it with a 24-70L 2.8

If all goes as planned, should be able to make the purchase in the next few months.

I know the MKIV is coming out but they expect it to retail for $3500 and I just can't swing that.

Ill see what I can dig up and post here that I have shot recently.
