I am fucking love love loving this lens. $25, sharp as hell and the color capture is amazing.

Bought that for $45 this morning.

Immaculate except for the dent/misformation on the front of the barrel.

To me its battle scars. No fungus, glass is good. Focuses smooth no issues.

I don't think I posted this in here yet. I worked on a film just for fun last fall and I'm pretty proud of it. I was b-cam operator, gaffer, and did the practical effects for it (fake arm skin, blood hits, etc.)

Wide open she is soft, has some ghost flaring.....

but stopped down, shit is sharp.

Of course colour is awesome and bokeh is lovely.

Well did it again-
Picked up this little baby-

Tokina 24mm 2.8


Little pricey, $80....but its shipping from the UK and it includes a UV filter...

so figure the lens is about $50.

Not bad.

Im also bidding on a 28-80 3.5 yashica and a Tamron 17-50 2.8 .....well see how it goes.

Ill probably pick up a 5dc in the near future. I need to shoot these lens on ff.

Yea this lens is really good. I think the Yashica 1.9 is a little sharper, even wide open, but the Rokkor-x holds it's own.

Ill be posting some more examples from my crop sensor tonight.

Just got in from shooting.

And fyi, I won the 28-70 yashica zoom.

If I win the Tamron 17-50, my wife is going to kill me.

if it isn't, it's really damn close. it's such a hard color to shoot, there's just enough green in it that it isn't straight up blue.
