Nice pic, I think the pic is a little bit soft at the wide open IMO or did you use soft filter? But its got a good bokeh.
How much did you get the lens for? Because my friend is looking for the same 50mm 1.4 lens.

thanx bowzil. because its a pic of a small child i was going for something a bit soft and not super sharp. i like the way it came out straight out of the camera. no filter was used. Actually the lens is a hand-me-down. it came with an old Nikorr film SLR that i got. the lens is from teh '70s or so but fits and works perfect with my d70. I also have a 35mm f/s 2.8The CB9 has been reborn into a CB3

Ya I need to do that lol. I just pulled it off the mem card edit the plate and posted lol. Ill do that next time when i get better pictures. Pictures make my car look like crap. Plus need to wait for some of this rain to go away. Then Prob drive around and take pictures. Lots of farmland around here so hard to get some spots in.

Tried to catch the stars over my house the other night.
30" exposure, ISO 1600, shutter priority, Manual focus.
If I ever get my hands on a remote shutter, ill try some star trails with bulb mode.Comment
