    And not having the experinace, regardless of the years, IMHO, makes it a bit more difficult.
    I'd say stick with the kit lens for the time being .. with whatever you end up with.
    It's not that bad, and it'll atleast introduce you and keep you interested .. as time goes on, you'll know better what you'll need to step into.


    Ya i was going to do that but right now Amazon is having a deal where you get a $150 credit applied so the Canon EF-S 55 would be free basically.

    Ya well when it is used right in the right circumstances, it is a very powerful tool.

    It also helps with focusing as well, but on my p+s it can be overkill in shots that id rather have a little underexposed and come out looking more "intimate".

    I don't mind adjusting the exposure in PS afterwards.

    Once the image is all bright and fully exposed you can bring it down but it isn't the same.
