i'm excited. friday i bought my first personally owned dslr.
i got a slighly (barely) used nikon d3000 with vr 18-55mm lens. also included in sale was a 8gb memory card and a lowepro dslr backpack
i was gonna listen to most people on here and get a d40 for starters and upgrade from that later on (and also saving my extra tax money to paint my teggy) but i couldn't pass this up. a new d40 was around $450+$500ish..
i offered this guy $400 (originally wanted $450) and he said yea, i had trouble coming up with the $400 so i offered $380 since my tax refund too soooo long to get here. he accepted and i got all for $380..seems like a pretty good deal to me. he had original box, everything is mint. original reciept when he paid like $600+ last year and everything. the d3000 and the d40 are almost the same..and seems like a good starter camera =] i wanted to get a d90 or a canon eos t2i but maybe later on..
i started using the camera and i loved it..its gonna take some getting used to, but i'm getting the hang of it. the setup is alot different than all the other cameras i've ever used. anyone ever used a d3000 and maybe have some tips for me? i would greatly apreciate it =]...
i'm also gonna post a few pics i take every once in a while with the d3000 in here, if that's cool with yall.
